Mohamed Nagy Geddo, Al Ahly's new star, managed to score the opener in the 22nd minute receiving Ahmed Fathi's cross with a strong header that crossed the goal line giving the Red Devils the lead.

7 minutes later, Saad El Najaar fired a free kick towards the wall but the ball rebounded to him again before he fired a strong volley that hit Sherif Ekramy's top corner and leveled things up again.
Sherif Yahiya, the opposition's striker, was suspended after receiving his second booking after simulation inside the box.

Shehab El Din cannoned more than a distant shot but unfortunately most of them missed the target by a lick of paint.

Mohamed AbouTrika, Al Ahly's superstar, tried to score more than once but all his chances just came so close especially his bicycle kick that shaved the top of the bar.

The substitute Osama Hosni couldn’t score 2 yards away from the target after his header was saved by the opposition's goalkeeper few seconds before the end of the match.

Al Ahly gained possession of the ball which enabled the midfield and sides to create a bunch of dangerous chances that were missed by the strikers in a strange manner.

Shabibat Al Qaba'el earned their 10th point to come on top of the group and guarantee qualifying to the semi finals. Al Ahly came in the 2nd place earning their 5th point ahead of Nigerian Heartland and Ismaili respectively.
