AhlyNews.com knew that Al Ahly’s former manager and current Ettihad Jeddah’s manager is on the verge of resigning with the Red Devils and that he will arrive to Cairo within the upcoming few days.

Al Ahly’s former legendary coach returned to Portugal after resining his job with the Saudi Arabian side and he is willing to return to Cairo within few days.

The only conflict between Jose and the administration is about the nationality of the assistant coach after Jose requested signing a Portuguese coach while the administration is favoring an Egyptian coach as Alaa Mayhoob or Mohamed Yousef.

Fidalgo, the former Al Ahly fitness coach, has a great chance of returning to the board due to the great relationship between him and Jose where the Portuguese fitness coach left the club after Jose’s reign ended.

On the other hand, Ahmed Nagy, the former goalkeepers’ coach, is also a possibility after ending his contract with the Sudanese side Al Mareekh.

The Portuguese coaching legend won with the Red Devils 19 titles locally and continentally in just 7 seasons besides winning the third place in the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2006 which is considered a great record.
