Al Ahly’s administration decided after today’s meeting to give special thanks to Ahmed Hassan, Egypt’s skipper and Al Ahly’s midfielder, and Osama Hosni, the striker, about the period they participated with the team and apologize about renewing their contracts which ended by the end of this season.

This decision was announced to end the arguments about both players’ future with the club after Osama Hosni announced frankly before the end of the season that he is leaving and Ahmed Hassan showed his great desire of staying with the team and said that he has been awaiting the negotiations for his contract renewal until it became too late.

Manuel Jose took the decision of not renewing to the players after he found that they won’t benefit the team in the upcoming period.

Osama Hosni will most probably join Misr Al Makassa after he accepted their offer while Ahmed Hassan is awaiting Zamalek’s financial stance in order to finalize his deal with Al Ahly’s rivals.
