25 players in the African squad of 2009

The technical board has chosen 25 players for the African squad of 2009 to participate in the Champions League.

The Squad:

GK: Amir Abdel Hamid, Ramzy Saleh, Ahmed Adel

DF: Shady Mohamed, Emad El Nahaas, Mohamed Samir, Ahmed El Saied, Wael Gomaa

MF: Gilberto, Mohamed Barakat, Saied Moawad, Hossam Ashoor, Motaz Eno, Ahmed Fathi, Ahmed Hasan, Hussein Ali, Mohamed AbouTrika, Ahmed Ali, Ahmed Seddik, Hussein Yasser

FW: Ahmed Belal, Osama Hosni, Ahmed Farag, Flavio, Hani El Eguizi

Hassan Mustafa and Anis Boujelbane were excluded because the committee decided to sell them besides Mahmud Samir who is on loan to Etisalat and Abdel Hamid Ahmed who the board announced that he will stay with the team.
